Impact

Real training. Real careers. Never a lowered bar.

We train refugees and host-community youth in Kenya into professional sales careers. Every apprentice earns their place, their skills and every meeting they book.

The apprenticeship

From application to career, the bar stays high.

01

Selection

Fewer than 20% of applicants are accepted. We select for resilience, communication and drive - the qualities that make great sellers, not the CV lines refugees rarely get the chance to earn.

02

Paid training

A paid apprenticeship of 300+ hours in our own Resilient Academy: B2B fundamentals, ICP messaging, objection handling, CRM discipline, business English and certification on live accounts.

03

Real careers

90% of graduates are hired into full-time roles - on client teams or our own. Top performers move into team-lead and leadership positions.

Cohort by cohort

Cohort Delta is in training right now.

Since 2023 we have run successive apprentice cohorts from our Nairobi and Turkana hubs - the newest, Cohort Delta, is being trained today in the Resilient Academy, our in-house learning platform with AI-assisted coaching and human review on every assessment.

In Turkana we work with Startup Lions in the Kakuma refugee settlement, connecting graduates of one of East Africa's most respected digital-skills programs to real, paying B2B sales careers.

In their words

The people behind the pipeline.

"As a displaced woman, finding opportunities was tough. The apprenticeship gave me the chance to learn professional sales and build a career. Being supported throughout made all the difference."

Alice Makeke, SDR

"In the past 10 years, we've trained over 1,000 displaced people and host community members in Turkana. We know how difficult it is to get them stable jobs. Resilient People apprenticeships create employment and also generate opportunities for our graduates."

Brizan Were, CEO, Startup Lions

This is not charity. It's a higher standard.

Clients don't work with us because of our mission - they stay because the work is excellent. The mission is what makes the excellence possible: people who fought for their opportunity don't waste it.
